Afforded life of forty sorrows
Rest the limbs from the fight
Another night has moved tomorrow
Closer to the lens that's seen tonight
Words are nothing, but that's made you
A beacon for the night about to bring
May it rain forty blades of pain from above
To cut you away from this life
The night, for some about the slumber
Or hiding away from the rain
The shadows disguise hidden meaning
Better than the lies of life today
The grave is only getting larger
To fit in all you think you take away
But you think rest is a finalising martyr
It's not, it is you and no one cares

I came here for TROB. Meilenwald is flawless here. However Almyrkvi are a fantasric band as well. Both projects do such a fantastic job creating atmosphere, as well as writing strong songs that get stuck in your head. Fantastic split from 2 awesome projects. 4/5 ClassyMusicSnob
Tokyo band contrast black metal's brutal complexity with shoegaze's abyssal grandeur, resulting in an LP that feels crushing, yet infinite. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 24, 2022

The inverted riff of "Silhouettes of Death's Grace" could go on for eternity. But when "Mourning Beloveth" hits, it makes you go straight back through their catalog. The clean vocals make everything go away. The new album cannot come fast enough... bcb723
